Series of metal plates raised by wires and DC motors in an attempt to stay upright. The movement of rising and collapsing creates a constant tilt of these shapes, or letters, similar to the italic function in typed texts. The pieces that make up the installation are metal plates salvaged, collected on the street during a walk. Their contact with the ground, as they rise and fall in a rapid and almost imperceptible movement, generates a subtle metallic sound, as if these objects had a life of their own.
