"Constellation" is a series of pencil drawings on wooden or cardboard panels painted black. The drawings are records of images seen on the road at night, during car trips. The marks on the black surface capture scenes of trucks, tractors, or buses moving at high speed between streetlights or car headlights, creating a play of luminescence, shadows, volumes, and refraction. The term "Constellation" is the name given to the medium and large trucks from Volkswagen launched and produced in Brazil starting in 2005. These vehicles have their name stickered above the sun visor, reflecting the road lights. In a nocturnal dance or nebulous expedition on the road, we pass through images that move and flicker.
