Series of oil pastel drawings on paper. The drawings were made from observations during car trips along DF 095, also known as Estrada Parque Ceilândia or Via Estrutural. They depict trucks and tractors in transit on one of the radial highways of the Federal District, Brazil. The Via Estrutural, approximately twelve kilometers long, was created in the 1970s to connect Taguatinga and Ceilândia, two peripheral cities of the DF, functioning as an expressway. Some drawings were made at a speed of 80-90 km/h, while others were created during traffic jams on this road, which I travel to go from the outskirts to the center of Brasília and vice versa.
