A video recorded at dusk, in which I document the act of sweeping the leaves accumulated in a deactivated swimming pool. The act of sweeping, common among household chores, gradually becomes a non-functional activity, as the leaves are repeatedly gathered and scattered in the space. The pool, which should be filled with water, is instead filled with darkness as the action unfolds between the end of the afternoon and the beginning of the night. How to get lost inside redefines, changes, the meanings according to the time of the action, in a playful interaction between gesture, image, sound, and what we consider noise, which gets lost in vision or hearing.
