MDF, light bulbs, and stones
15 x 15 x 7.5 cm each
Stone flakes (muscovite mica) placed on light boxes.
The stones were collected from a stream at dusk, for their shine amid the flowing waters, in the city of Olhos D’Água, Goiás.
When broken into small flakes, they seem to transform into bits of skin, tiny bones, or even miniature watercolors, presented against the light like an archaeological study.
The arrangement of these minimal elements forms archipelagos with their tributaries and organic lines. The light boxes invite the gaze to explore and dance along with the mineral composition of the tiny stones.
