Series of photographs of cut and burned tree stumps.
The images in this series can be arranged in various configurations, allowing changes in order and proximity according to the continuation of the dry grass surrounding the trunks. "Cepa" (stump) refers to the portion of the trunk that remains above the ground and continues below through the plant’s roots. In this series, the stumps hold a certain mystery, as they “dance” through the possibilities of assembly and photographic observation: Were they burned by a natural fire? By human action? Were they bonfires for festive gatherings or sources of warmth for wanderers?
