Series of sculptures made from pieces of wood and other materials collected during my walks.
The pieces arise from observing trucks during my car trips, and their construction takes into account the colors, proportions, textures, and other elements perceived during the travels. The group Balsinhas brings together sculptures that transition between the image of a truck and a boat. Additionally, Balsinhas refers to the transportation of river cargo and a childhood memory: when I was 10 years old, I crossed a river by ferry in the interior of Pará, along with trucks, cars, motorcycles, and people. Balsinhas plays with the scale of the loads, ranging from small pieces of wood to a tree trunk.
